How to manage boilers

Repair the contract system for best condition!

Failure to operate or neglect maintenance of the boiler can cause unforeseen accidents and shorten boiler life.

Always record the boiler inspection log and keep the following information. 

If the boiler is out of maintenance on its own, shut it down for now. And then you can get quick service by contacting 1588-3838 anywhere in the country for prompt service.

◎ Things to be inspected daily

  • Boiler interior: Always clean the boiler interior well. (Do not leave unnecessary items around the boiler.)
  • Drain the entire water supply: Run the boiler for 8 hours and then drain the boiler once a day (once a day) the morning of the next day. (Steam pressure at 1.0 kg/ ㎠)
  • Low water level blocking: After draining the boiler, check that there is no water in the water system and operate the boiler to check that the burner is not working. (When activated, check whether the water level electrode rod is required.)
  • Status of the training period: Please collect 20-40cc of water from a clean cup yourself. Drop 1-2 drops of water-checking reagents. If it's blue, it's normal. If it's red, there's something wrong with the water softener. Please play it manually and check and do the above again.  At this time, the water pressure is at least 1.5kg/ ㎠, the timer at the current time, and the salt at the salt level.
  • Medication injection device: Please check if the medication injection pump operates with the water pump. If the medicine is decreasing compared to the previous day and does not decrease, open the air removal valve of the liquor pump to remove the air and replenish the medication so that it is not less than 10ℓ.
  • Combustion status: Please check if the ignition is smooth. Check the smoke and exhaust temperature during combustion, and if the smoke generation or exhaust temperature is higher than usual, contact us or use it after receiving service. (However, check the exhaust gas temperature in the high combustion state.)
  • Check the gauge: Check if the gauge (oil and gas pressure meter, steam pressure meter, exhaust thermometer, and sleep meter) is operating in property status and replace malfunctioning ones.
  • Safety devices: Check the operation status of the pipe overheating prevention switch, the upper limit switch (for gas), and the pressure switch manually.
  • Make sure that there are no leaks and leaks in each area of the boiler. Check and record the fuel and water supply for the day.

◎ Things to be inspected and carried out once a month

  • Fuel filter: Check if the filter is clean and clean it in case of contamination.
  • Water filter: Check the groundwater filter and replace the filter in case of contamination. For water pumps and continuous brow strain or filter net

    Check it and clean it in case of contamination.

  • Burner cleaning: Disassemble the burner and clean the nozzle, ignition rod, diffuser, and frame eye.
  • Inspection of the safety valve: Please hands-on static pressure, looked up and running the boiler. Pull the manual lever on the safe side to see if it erupts. The above action is to prepare for a contingency.
  • Check and clean the water supply (oil) tank: Check the contamination inside the water supply (oil) tank. If contaminated with substances such as rust, replace them with clean water (oil) after draining them all.
  • Cleaning the salt container: Check the salt content of the water softener and if contaminated with mud, clean it and add salt.

    If you collect about 500cc of boiler water and raw water in a clean bottle and request our analysis, you can check the water quality management status.

  • Use soap bubbles to check the gas leakage once a month.
  • Drain the boiler and disassemble the water level electrode rod to clean it. (Once every three months)

◎ If you do not carry out inspection and implementation, the boiler will be affected by the following:

  • Please drain the boiler at the beginning of the boiler operation every day. The concentration of boiler water creates a scale inside the boiler water pipe.

    The scale prevents heat transfer and reduces boiler efficiency. These increases fuel consumption and, if severe, may rupture the water pipe.

  • The water softener prevents scale generation by removing the hard substance is contained in the water, which requires delicate management.

    Therefore, the water pressure must be at least 1.5kg/㎠ and the timer must always be managed according to the current time.

    The training equipment must be playing in 24 hours a day.

  • Medicine (Cheong Control) adjusts the PH of boiler water to 11.0-11.8, removes dissolved oxygen to prevent corrosion and scatters the trace amount of hard ingredients introduced into the boiler to preventing production on a scale. Therefore, the medicine container should always be supplement so that it does not fall below 10ℓ.
  • Various safety devices are attached to our boiler to prevent accidents caused by boilers.

    Therefore, it is necessary to always check the safety device for good operation and prepare for accidents or emergencies.

    The booster boiler has the following safety devices:

    Overheating prevention switch of pipe to prevent fire due to overheating of the boiler, safety valve to prevent the boiler explosion due to malfunction of the pressure control switch, and low-water shut-off device to check boiler to the normal level of water.

  • If the main steam valve opened rapidly or the boiler pressure is too low (less than 4 kg/㎟) severe non-aqueous phenomena may occur, so use it carefully.
  • In winter, some components are dangerous to freeze (softener, water straining system, water pump, each valve), so after completing boiler operation, drain the water.

    Open the valve, water pump air valve, water straining system, plug, etc.,   And then, drain the water from the water tank and water softener.

  • If drain the water is carried out at a pressure that is too high during electrical drainage, there is a risk of safety accidents caused by the flow of drain pipes, so be careful.
